Tire-derived fuels (TDF)

Tire-derived fuels (TDF) are composed of shredded scrap tires from passenger cars and trucks, it typically used as a supplement to traditional fuels such as coal or wood to be burned in concrete kilns, power plants, paper mills or dedicated tire-to-energy facilities.

TDF has calorific value between 7.500 kcal/kg up to 8.000 kcal/kg or 13,000 Btu/lb up to 15,000 Btu/lb and low sulfur content.

Mainly sizes available are: – 20 mm free from steel tire wire in two grades and packing, first quality is 20 mm mix Tire (car and truck) available in two packings, Big Bags and Loose, while second quality is from truck tire packed in Big Bags only – 100 mm – 150 mm – 250 mm – Up to 400 mm –Tire Bales in three different sizes – OTR Tire Cut in 3/4/5 Pieces – Truck Tire Cut 3 Pieces in two packaging – Agriculture Tire Cut 3 Pieces
